Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the US, is an actress. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that She joined the Bratpack group and appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy is an American writer and actress. In the early 80s, she made her debut as a film actress with the thriller film Bad Boys. She was well-received for this film. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her breakthrough in her first film, she also appeared in the comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club has been hailed as one of most memorable films of high school cinema. The film was made for just $1,000,000, but the film made over 50 million dollars. Also, she began to appear on a number of television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. The show was for teens that began to air in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other shows in which she has appeared. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as a small cameo. Her incredible performances have earned many awards like the MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
