Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the only woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and media celebrity. She was the first female to be awarded in the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. A winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017Annie has gained a lot of attention. Annie was born and raised in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. Being an avid sportsman and fitness enthusiast since an early age, she took part in various school games and also won numerous awards. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit competitions held in California. The first performances were good. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. Her height is around 5'7 and weighs approximately 70 kilograms. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit classes in California in 2009. She was able to perform very well in the initial games. Annie was ranked among the top 10 out of more than 70. But she did not take home any titles and ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. That same year, with Jami's direction, she was awarded the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. The following year, she participated again at CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She was the first woman ever to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie was a winner, having outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to win the two CrossFit Games. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. In 2021, she took home the bronze medal. Annie trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face of numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and Sidekick Yerbae.
